PROTECTION (IMPREGNATION) OF THE STONE FLOORS

The natural porous stones:

- impregnation based on the chemically resistant silicon (diluted in alifate hydrocarbon)

Using the impregnator, a high resistance of the protected surfaces against the extreme dirt, water and grease is achieved for many years. The surface is not simply polished by the agent, the moisture evaporation and drying of the surface is also enabled. Impregnations are mostly used outdoors.

Warning: the stone must be dry and clean before the impregnation. The temperature must not be lower than 10° C.

- crystallization and vitrification:

The procedure of crystallization is convenient only for the compact stones containing the lime-stone (usually marble). Using the previously described method the shine of marble is up to five times multiplied. Marble does not absorbe the dirt, the absorbance of the water is reduced, thus the daily cleaning and maintanance is facilitated. At the same time the intensity of colours is increased (the appearance of the marble is more beautiful), and the most important is that the slipperiness of the surface is reduced up to 20%.

Warning: crystallization is chemical proces based on the acid, and only the high qualified professional are allowed to participate because irreversable damage on the stone can occur.
